SUMMARY: The Commercial Loan Admin. Assistant will provide clerical support for commercial lenders. Process loan requests generated by commercial lending officers. Collect and process loan documentation. Communicate with loan officers, appraisers, title agencies and customers. Provide efficient superb service to external and internal customers. This position has been designed to expose the applicant to the commercial and consumer loan application process, loan underwriting, loan approval, loan portfolio management and loan prospecting. The ideal candidate should have the desire to eventually be a lender in a community environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE A Bachelors Degree in banking, business, finance, economics, accounting or related field, or a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with five years of related banking or business experience and/or training or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
