A Bryson Tax Preparer reviews current AND past due tax returns (particularly 1040 with Schedule C, Partnership, & Corporate Income Tax Returns) for clients of Bryson Accounting & Tax Service, LLC, with a particular understanding that a large number of clients will be referred from Bryson Law Firm, LLC and will thus require a great deal of attention, patience, persistence, and time-management.
This job involves the gathering of detailed information from clients in a diligent, customer-service-oriented manner and involves working with the internal office staff of Bryson Accounting and Tax Service, LLC and Bryson Law Firm, LLC to prepare accurate and complete returns in a timely manner.
Additional tasks include but are not limited to supervising Bryson Accounting and Tax Service, LLC tax preparers and support staff, being the “go-to” person for all Bryson staff for the status of each tax client’s file, maintaining each tax client’s internal checklist, creating a communication plan for tax return preparation to keep clients updated, ensure that top-quality Bryson customer service is being delivered at all times, assist in planning and implementing annual tax season initiatives, delivering returns to clients, etc.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field REQUIRED
PTIN REQUIRED
Ability to prepare tax returns according to/with knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles REQUIRED
High energy and self-motivation
Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
Effective communication skills; customer service experience preferred
Comfortable with and capable of providing accounting and tax guidance
