Sky’s Edge Wealth, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., is seeking a detail oriented, supporting Associate Financial Advisor to complement our client focused team. In this client facing role, you will use your industry knowledge to assist Advisors in researching and recommending the best options for the clients as well as providing transactional support clients. Your talents will contribute to an outstanding client experience by:
Maintaining Advisor and client contact during the financial planning process.
Proactive meeting preparation looking for relevant financial planning topics and giving input on recommendations for solutions.
Preparing additional materials for client meetings as assigned by Advisor.
Reviewing and updating client information for client review meetings, as needed.
Attending and participating in client meetings, if necessary.
Reviewing and interpreting financial statements and Net Worth Documents.
Monitoring securities by reviewing buying/selling triggers, taking action on option executions, establishing dollar cost averaging arrangements, and processing redemption requests with Advisor’s approval.
Point person for designated group of clients being able to handle the majority of advice related questions without needing to bring in Financial Advisor.
Manage and resolve client services issues with: bank authorizations, systematic payouts, dividend changes, renewal of certificates, annuities – living benefit riders management and 401(k) rollover processing.

Salary: $80,000-$115,000 annually, plus bonus pay.

Minimum Qualifications:
Series 7, Series 66, State life, accident and health insurance licenses required. CFP preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field, OR high school diploma (or equivalent) AND five years progressive experience in the field.
2+ years in financial planner, support advisor, or similar role required, 5+ years preferred.
Significant experience developing client relationships and client support is required.
Experience with SalesForce or other Client Relationship Management software. Naviplan and/or other financial planning software experience is preferred.
Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
