Financial Planner & Business Development Specialist (In Office)
The Financial Planner is a client relationship and investment management position that provides support for the Lead Advisor and Portfolio Manager. They will work directly with clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with their short- and long-term financial goals. This includes retirement planning, investment strategies, tax management, and estate planning. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, regulations, and products to provide personalized advice that helps clients secure their financial future.
The Business Development Specialist is a client relationship and investment management position that provides support for the Lead Advisor. They are focused on building strong, lasting relationships with clients through proactive engagement and strategic outreach. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with the company’s offerings. The individual will engage with clients through networking, meetings, and follow-ups, ensuring a positive and value-driven experience. Additionally, they will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and continuous support, fostering trust and long-term partnerships that drive business growth.
Duties:
Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients’ goals and risk tolerance, including retirement, investments, estate planning, and insurance needs.
Analyze financial data and recommend strategies to improve financial performance.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives and market trends.
Collaborate with clients to identify their financial needs and life goals, providing education and guidance on financial decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to ensure the best financial advice is provided.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Identify and develop relationships with potential clients through networking, referrals, and other business development strategies.
Generate leads and create business proposals tailored to prospective clients' financial needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to foster long-term business growth.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance business presence and reputation.

Qualifications:
Solid academic track record with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. CFA, CFP, or equivalent designation preferred.
3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships.
Ability to network, develop leads, and establish client relationships effectively.
Team player, with ability to supervise and coach others
Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
Self-starter, takes initiative; client first attitude
